On Thursday, March 15th Pedrocchi Cafè hosted the conference “Territory, meeting point between Design, Ethics and Finance“.

A small crowd took part in the event, which gathered people interested in slow-related topics, curious to discover the shared points of fields commonly perceived as very different from each other.

As a matter of fact, four different realities with shared values joined and cooperated to organise the evening: BPER Banca, ARCA Sgr, Associazione Amici di Giorgio Lago and Slow+Fashion+Design.

It is not common to think of Finance and Design altogether, as well as it might surprise to find profit-related companies dominated by Ethics.

Slow philosophy aims at creating a new economic standard, through which such diverse characteristics can coexist. Therefore, it is essential to meet with financial and entrepreneurial realities based on human relationships, which melt innovation with territorial sustainability.

“Slow enterprises are not limited to creating products: they also foster fundamental values, respecting social and environmental ethics in everyday lifestyle.”

Local territories are the ideal places to experiment the union between ethical values and new financial models, creating a common perspective, a starting point for the new Slow+Fashion+Design Community.

Is there a better chance to share the Community goals than such an event, hosted by a territorial, historical venue like Pedrocchi Cafè?

Our thanks to the spokespeople, institutional partners and all the people who took part in the event, contributing to make it an opportunity for networking and debating over relevant topics.
